How is her swimming going?

My 3 year old just had her last swimming lesson for the term in her new class. She's been swimming on her own without me now for 6 months. One of many things she will learn to do without my help and not need me for anymore. Initially that thought makes me a little sad but I'm happy to feel that sadness because not only is her growing up inevitable but learning to be safe in the water is really important to us. And while I'm glad to be kept dry every Saturday and actually be able to put some makeup on, I do miss it sometimes. It's just hard getting your head around how quickly they grow up. Seeing her proud little face when she gets in the water and does what she is told shouting "mummy mummy look at me" my heart is so full of pride that she is learning a valuable skill, she also really loves the water. In the last few months she has learnt to swim with a noodle, dig with her arms properly, swim with her face in the water and swim unaided underwater.
